Reconnect with the intellectual and physical labor of fine art through this 4-session immersive package. This is a space for adults who already possess a foundational understanding of art to engage in high-level multidisciplinary practice. We touch every base of the fine arts, from the intimacy of sketching to the tactile challenge of sculpting and the precision of printmaking. While a basic kit is provided, bringing your own materials is highly recommended to personalize your output and broaden our collective experimental reach. Our sessions are built around the concept of sustainability, finding value in the upcycled and the overlooked. The ultimate goal of this package is to help you move from a single painting to a cohesive collection. We spend significant time developing the "artist's eye," the ability to see, categorize, and critique art with professional depth. We discuss art history and contemporary painters, learning to differentiate styles and values while refining our own technical signatures. For those new to the world of art, we offer an introductory "Basics Round" where we cover the essential laws of lines, shades, and color before transitioning you into the main supervised project stream. Each class is limited to 10 participants to maintain a high level of discourse and individual guidance. We offer the first session as a free trial so you can find your rhythm in the studio.
